Could not fault anything with our evening here. From the very warm welcome to the very warm goodbye. The room was excellent even had a bath not just a shower. The food we had for our evening meal was cooked perfectly, served with a smile andva laugh. The staff serving food and bar staff could not do enough for you. And this was repeated at breakfast with all different staff but the same excellent service. Would highly recommend The Globe. Even the two big light fittings were impressive

We stopped over here on our way to Cornwall! This is a lovely pub with friendly staff! Rooms are a little dated, but they are clean and beds so comfy, so it didn't bother us too much! Very good size tv! We went for a walk along the canal that is at the back of the pub and found a really good park! Really nice location! Evening meal was good, as was breakfast, so I would definitely recommend and we will definitely be back when heading to Cornwall!

We, (family of 4, 2 teens) booked for an overnight stay on our way from Cornwall to near London. The room was very spacious and the beds very comfortable. We all had a good nights sleep. TV, WIFI all worked great, tea and coffee supplied in the room. Room and pub were spotlessly clean including toilets which is good news for me as then I know the kitchen will also be clean !! Food was nice, regular pub grub and well priced. Staff were AMAZING and very genuine, could tell it was a family run business. Wish we could have stayed longer and explored the area.

Great location for a stop off on a long journey into Devon. Food and facilities are brilliant, especially for a youngster. The beer garden, canal and local park give plenty of options to stretch out after a few hours in the car. Staff are great and the room has everything needed.

The room was comfortable, clean with a good shower but dated. Had a delicious evening meal of vegetable fajitas and salad and the breakfast was generous with a choice of continental and full English. Staff were all very friendly and helpful. It was fine for a convenient stopover close to the M5.

The breakfast was cooked how we liked they change things without any hesitation in the best poached eggs I’ve had for many years The Location was very good just off the motorway junctions and within easy reach of destinations that we planned to go to

We enjoyed our stay here, great pub just off the M5. The staff were really friendly and you could have a good chat about all sorts, food is good and the breakfast, can't fault it, superb Super comfy bed in our room and a brand new bathroom, had a chat with the manager and refurbs are ongoing, we will return, cheers for making us feel welcome 👌👌👍

Lovely location for an overnight stop whilst travelling, not too far from the motorway and 200 times better than a Day's Inn by the side of the motorway! Happy to accommodate us for a meal and they catered for gluten free with no trouble at all. There is a lovely canal area to take a stroll after your meal behind the pub Breakfast was good and included in the price, great stay overall.
